For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Dare to Accept Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through the KEYOH platform.

- Government-issued identity documents (for verified users)
Property and listing information:
- Property address
- Property details, descriptions and photographs or videos you upload
- Asking price and offer information
- Ownership and tenure information
Financial information:
- Payment card details (processed securely — we do not store full card numbers)
- Transaction history for boost purchases and subscriptions
- Mortgage in principle information (where provided)
- Savings data (only where you choose to connect via Open Banking)
Usage and behaviour data:
- Videos and content you watch on the platform
- Homes you save, share or interact with
- Search and browsing activity within the app
- Device information, IP address and location data
- App usage patterns and session data
Communications:
- Messages sent between buyers and sellers through the platform
- Support enquiries and correspondence with KEYOH
- Reviews and ratings submitted after completed transactions

How We Use Your Data
- To provide the KEYOH service — creating and managing your account, displaying listings, enabling
buyer-seller connections and processing transactions - To personalise your experience — our AI matching algorithm uses your watch history, saved homes and
life profile to surface relevant property matches - To verify your identity — we carry out identity checks to protect all users and comply with our Anti-Money
Laundering obligations - To process payments — handling boost purchases, subscription fees and any referral transactions
- To communicate with you — sending match notifications, deal updates, push notifications and service
communications - To improve the platform — analysing usage patterns to develop new features and improve existing ones
- To comply with legal obligations — meeting our requirements under UK law including GDPR, AML
regulations and consumer protection legislation - To protect our users — detecting and preventing fraud, abuse and other harmful activity on the platform

Our Legal Basis for Processing
- Contract — processing necessary to provide the KEYOH service you have signed up for
- Legitimate interests — improving our platform, preventing fraud and sending relevant service communications
- Legal obligation — complying with AML regulations, identity verification requirements and other legal duties
- Consent — where we ask for your specific permission, such as for marketing communications or Open Banking connections. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Who We Share Your Data With
- With other KEYOH users — your listing information and verified status are visible to other users as part of the service
- With service providers — trusted third parties who help us operate the platform, including payment processors, identity verification providers, video hosting services and cloud infrastructure providers. All are bound by strict data processing agreements.
- With solicitors and mortgage partners — where you choose to connect with a recommended solicitor or
mortgage broker through KEYOH, we share the necessary details to facilitate that introduction - With regulators and law enforcement — where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users
- In the event of a business transfer — if KEYOH or Dare to Accept Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified in advance.
Section 06
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the KEYOH service and comply with our legal obligations:
- Account data — retained for the duration of your account and for up to 6 years after account closure
- Transaction records — retained for 6 years in line with HMRC requirements
- Identity verification records — retained for 5 years after the end of a business relationship in line with AML regulations
- Communications and messages — retained for 2 years after the conversation ends
When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Data Storage and Security
All personal data collected through KEYOH is stored on servers located within the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure access controls and authentication
- Regular security assessments
- Staff training on data protection
In the unlikely event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours and inform affected users without undue delay

- Right to restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
- Right to data portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
- Rights related to automated decision-making — the right not to be subject to decisions made solely by automated processing that significantly affect you
